Day 2: Sunday saw THE CHAI-CYCLE start at the home of Better Bankside. There was a residents gathering, along with a collection of walkers setting out on a Bankside Urban Forest Walk. THE CHAI-CYCLE rolled through the narrow streets of Southwark to The Oikos Project, and offered tired workers refreshment. The last stop for the Festival was The Urban Orchard, where the inquisitive passer by enjoyed a cupper before entering the urban eden.
THE CHAI-CYCLE now rests in a Southwark arch, but plans are already afoot for a return to London’s streets. Look out for the Chai-cyclists popping up on a street near you in the future.
